Xavier University Medical School?

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone can give me some info on Xavier University Medical School? From what I understand it's a new school but haven't found out much more from looking on their website. Please PM me if you wish.

Hi. I don't go there, but I am on the same island of Bonaire. It looks very nice. I have been fortunate enough to run into a couple of their students, and they seem to be very happy with the school thus far. They do have TERI loans. Perhaps they are worth looking into. Best wishes!

Hi. I now go to Xavier, as I have recently transferred from St. James to Xavier. Xavier did not approach me; I approached Xavier. Thus far, I have been very pleased with the school. The classrooms are nice; the teachers are good; the students seem to be very happy; the tuition is very resonable, and the administration seems to have the student's best interest at heart. There are some very good students here, as well. Best wishes!

sbturner sad to hear u transferred...can't blame u though...with the way sjsm is running.....yea just like sbturner mentioned....xavier started last year with sjsm students transferring....they currently don't have a lot of students....though a significant number is expected for the new batch...luv the marketing campaign of the school....xavier is clearly more organized.....also the school xavier is currently having some probs with the bonaire gov...to be honest who isn't these days....so they are looking at opening another campus at aruba....best yet if u do apply...apply to their aruba campus...

Thank you Canadakid. That is true, Xavier is working very hard to open a campus in Aruba. I'll let you know within a few weeks what happens, as the administration had promised to let us know for sure within that time period. Also, Xavier is working very hard to secure Sallie Mae loans to supplement their TERI loans. Finally, I left St. James because I simply did not trust the owner, Best wishes! Oh yeah, I am not a mind reader, but I think I have a feel for folks. Best wishes!

isnt all saints on aruba?
and then isnt there something about the admin of all saints being associated with xavier and then having a fall out..

what would be the implications of both schools being ont he same island?
more of the same bickering that is going on back and forth with sjms and xavier?

its like a soap opera...

wow...studentMD your source is very good and right to the point...yes all saints is on aruba as well....and yes xavier was to start with the admin associated with it (former sjsm employee).....but then that person pulled a stunt with xavier and i guess they broke up after that......beleive me that is a huge plus....and i think for all of u applying to xavier....apply to the aruba campus...that school has more chance of surviving and prospering than the one in bonaire...and i think once xavier starts in aruba....its goodbye for all saints.....it will do to all saints wut sjsm did to xavier in bonaire....lets see wut happens now.....anyway best of luck to all of u guys....lets see wut happens now with the keybank soap opera...a lot of carib schools are just panicking right now from wut it looks like.....

What makes you say that? I've seen some students get concerned, seen schools raise tuition a little. I haven't heard schools really say anything.
