One of the new students advises that it is a new building that is currently sitting empty. No furniture in it at all. Guess it has a way to go, yet.

Xavier and St. James

Both schools suck! Go someplace else, if you can, i.e. have the academic credentials and cash!

New building. Little faculty there yet and still trying to get more. They promise loans, clinicals, and stuff but I think it is too new. Still yet to see anything posted to worth risk going.

St. James does is exactly what you expect from a 4200 dollar tuition school. I can tell you that their are people doing well and aren't complaining. Some people complain about everything because they can or they are doing badly.

Things are improving but slowly. Things cost time and money. No one here says that they aren't being prepared.... they are lying if they are.

Undoubtedly, there are some people who believe that an international school is a short-cut to medicine, or that it is easier or has lower standards. A high rate of attrition is not unexpected. Nor is it unexpected that those struggling to achieve average grades will not score well on the USMLE. One can only hope that early in the education process the lightbulb goes on and the person learns that parroting information for higher grades does not equal knowledge and understanding. It's ironic that those who don't scream the loudest.

ST JAMES SUCKS

I have to disagree with you! Xavier is about a thousand times better than St. James which is FULL of empty promises! You get NOTHING for your tuition and have students teaching tutorials because they didn't learn anything from the teachers! Dr. **** is never there and is not reachable to answer any questions or concerns. His office is EXTREMELY rude and they change thier policies at whim. Careful what you sign and what you get yourself into. THIS SCHOOL IS TERRIBLE! STAY AWAY

Has Xavier even started yet? If not, it can not be 1000x better now, can it?
