the irony of it all

So I was looking over the Xavier (Aruba) website the other day and noticed there were open houses held recently in California and Texas. This struck me as surprising because if a prospective student were to attend this school in hopes of being licensed in their home state the chances would be 0 for CA(have to be on approved list) and close to 0 for TX(case by case basis).
I mean what would the dialogue at one of these sessions be in reference to state licensure?? I'm not familiar with the locations where these open houses were held but I assume the location was picked due to the sheer volume of people in the area.

My cousin from California decided to go to Xusom. The dean told her during her interview flat out not to go to Xavier if she wanted to practice in Cali.

This, whether you know it or not, is in fact a good sign of hope for a potential school. The fact that someone in the admin realizes the school's shortcomings and doesn't give a prospective student false hopes is a good thing. That means the school may have a long term plan to fix these shortcomings (hopefully) and standout as a reputable carib school in the future.
