I was wondering if the Exams are tricky or hard at all, Even if u study??

and is studying hard and tedious and one gets no sleep??

and are people competitive or friendly??

the exams are generally pretty tricky, sometimes they can be easy.

Some students study two hours a day and fly by, others study nonstop and struggle. Depends on you and your studying skills.

Students are more competitive than friendly, in my opinion.

I've heard there are immigration problems for students and professors on the island. With that said are the same professors consistently there semester after semester or do they change often? I mean how can one monitor what the exams are like if the professors change often.

I know the exam questions are all supposed to be in usmle format but does that mean they are standardized (covering basic principles not random obscure facts) for each course?

I also wanted to know if students at the end of their basic sciences felt that the education they received was enough to prepare them for step 1 or is it mostly up to independent study?
