My question is,
where, and how many spots, and if the spots are all acfmg(green spots) approved.
what books do the school use, like are they similar to the ones in US or different.
How is the facility, of the school for examples labs and stuff.
Please let me know

It's easy to look up whether your school offers ACGME accredited rotations. Just go to ACGME Accredited Program and Institutional Listing - Public Access and look up each of the school's clinical sites.

i wanted to talk to students who go to school there. how is this school compare to others.

ITs great compared to others because you have an admin that is interested in helping you, and doing whatever it takes to help you. Unlike other schools that are interested in making money off of you. The head office in ohio...will go the distance for you. To me that is golden..because all schools have thier issues...but this one is willing to work for you.

+1 on what ams said....The office in Ohio is amazing, the staff there is much nicer and willing to work with the students than a lot of the other schools....I transfered about over a year ago and haven't regretted it one bit....

As for the 'green' rotations, I myself haven't done all green rotations for my cores. I spoke with a few residency directors and they all said that for the most part, they don't look at if your rotation is green or not....Obviously if you're applying somewhere like Hopkins or GW, than it might be a bit of a problem but for other city hospitals and the like, u should be ok....

If all of the core rotations are done at atlanta medical center then they are ACGME approved.

Where have you guys done your core rotations for Xavier?

Also i think that if you rotations are not ACGME approved then your going to have licensing issues.

GME (xavier aruba's lil brother) does not offer green book...if you ask them they will give you a run around about how its not important,,and take you off the topic. But then they say you have to pass your step 1 to do rotations in chicago...which is green book only.

Xavier Bonaire does in fact offer green book and blue book rotations. In ATL, Chicago, Ohio and other sites are coming up soon. And you can choose to do your rotation threw GME...or set up your own. I would rather do it threw Xavier bonaire...because are so much more easy to work with it (admin wise).

GME - was dropped at AUA because of issues with greenbook rotations. Look it up on a search of the AUA forum say about a year ago. As I understand it the Bonaire franchise now has different clinical sites. However, I have not been able to verify this yet. I would call their office.

If someone has the time to post the clinical spots, you then can look up what sites are greenbook. Knowing what clincal spots as school has is a key factor in choosing the right school for your medical education.
