Xavier has a lot of UNETHICAL issues.

This school may accept every culture or ethnicity, but they do not cater to every culture. Professors advise certain students on which sources to use to study for their test, while other students are left behind. Sometimes students mysteriously know other students' grades. Also, some review courses are posted on the syllabus to meet weekly, but you don't ever take them. Yet you still are stuck paying for it. Unethical problems occur such as professors going to dinner or lunch with CERTAIN students and their families. If your tuition is not paid on time, they will post your name throughout the school to humiliate you. Several students transfer after their 4th or 5th semester. If you don't believe any of this you should facebook current students.

@Stethoscope7: if a student goes to meet a lecturer and complain that a particular textbook say Constanzo Physiology which he/she is using to study, he/she is not able to comprehend and the lecturer advice the student to try and study the textbook along with say BRS physiology, should such a professor be impaled on a stake for helping the student out?
I have never heard of professors going out with students for lunch or dinner, that is fallacious. Yes it is true that students name are pasted if they dont pay their fees on time, but it depends on the student approach towards it, in the sense that, emails and messages are been sent to you to pay your fees before due or after due and if you take the pain to go and explain to the finance department your problems for not having paid, I think they will respect that especially when the reasons are genuine. But some students have nonchalant attitude towards their stuff and some as well have been giving the money by their parents but they just failed to pay possibly cos they have squandered the money.
But come to think of it, a school that allow you to still take your exams even though your name is posted that you havent paid your fees and one that hid your name and told you, its better you take a leave of absence cos you cant be allowed to write your exam and they didnt allow you to write the exam, which will you prefer?
Students who transfer after MD4 are lazy students how have failed to utilized all the windows opened to them by the school and failed their exams but not to bring shame to themselves and be seen in school cos they will be spotted out as failures, they make up stories that the school is not a good school and you cant get good rotations. Dear for a hospital to be approved by the United States and allowed to be running is up to world standard.

Getting help from a professor is one thing, but whenever a professor secretly dishes out questions and answers and possibly even the whole test to individuals it becomes a problem. Yes this is true, because I've witnessed it. These individuals who have inherited these items pass it along to a few other students, and this causes a lot of individuals to fall behind the curve and fail the class. Mind you I did well at Xavier, but the system is not fair at all. The school is not going to do anything about this because a lot of students are transferring, and they need to fail students so that hey can receive more money. It's a business obviously, and it's not a very good one. If the student's aren't happy then no one's happy.

You got me laughing Punjabi: Honestly speaking I will say what I know, I have never seen since I came here that professors dish out questions before the exam to students. The only thing I know is some professors repeat questions from previous class (which actually the motive behind it is a good one cos most of the questions are frequently tested ones in USMLE or high yield questions) but some students during the review of the exams UNKNOWN to the professors take pictures of the review slides using iPads and other gadgets, which they SECRETLY pass on cos according to the school rules if you are caught, you face the disciplinary committee, but it has been noticed by the school and I'M WITHOUT MINCING WORDS telling you as of today, that that rubbish has stopped and it is a thing of the past.
And you will also agree with me that is not just a Xavier thing, unknown to most schools, students get these past questions and secretly circulate it among themselves. And such files are giving different names, a well known school in the caribbean, its students have such files called macdaddy. Any student from that school who read this post will agree with me and I know a lot more of other schools with evidences.
But as you Punjabi rightly pointed out, irrespective of you not depending in such aids, didnt you do just fine with your exams? Why? Cos you work hard and nothing you are being tested that was outside the scope of your course objectives. Also I wanna tell you no one fail a student to get more money, exams are being set, immediately after your exam you see your result once you hit the button that you are done...so where is the failure coming from? If you pass no one can go back and fail you and if you fail no one will look at your pretty face and pass you, you have to seat back and take the course or better still transfer out.
