No One Is Talking ! Why The Silence
Just out of curiosity; why is that we have so many individuals viewing this particular forum, yet so few reply to any of the post.
It just seems that some vital questions asked are not answered. I am pleading with all current students to share with prospective students vital information about the school that may aid prospects in their decision;because I have learned that many things you don't find out until you are actually at the school which can be a good and bad. Don't get me wrong I am very thankful to those of who have replied. I know many of you are busy with many other activities, but the little time you have taken our to answer a few questions here and there has truly helped not only myself, but I am sure many others also in making key decisions and determining key moves in our medical careers. |

(1) There is a mistaken notion that the school punishes students who criticize the school. That is nonsense; I'm a regular poster, the school brass knows who I am, I am often critical, and no one has ever tried to stop me. (2) Many students believe it's a waste of time, in that nothing will ever change as a result of their posts. (3) They're too busy. (4) They don't care to help newbies. This is a serious problem which continues to be addresed by the SGA, without much success. If I didn't have a final exam tomorrow, I could think of a few more. The best way to get information is to scour this forum and look for regular posters who seem to be helpful. PM them for a more honest response. Search for all my posts and ignore the sarcastic ones; concentrate on the informative posts and you will have a compendium of knowledge regarding the school and life in Aruba. You can also write to the SGA; its email is not read by the school. The address is sgaxusom@gmail.com. SGA officers take their jobs very seriously, but are pressed for time, especially now during finals.

Hey Southerndoc,
I did get accepted, but don't think I will be making it. No loans. To come in May means paying out of pocket; they said maybe by August they should have some new lenders... Where in the south are you from? I from the Atl. |

Hey man, I pm'ed ya back, but to answer your question I'm from TX. I think I'm going to start researching private lenders here and look into local banks. I want to make sure this matter is taken care of way before I get there. It's pretty serious.

Prospective students, If you want choices about where you live and work as a physician, then bite the bullet by saving your money because it will cost more and be prepared for rigourous study and attend Ross. Xusom is a very poor quality school. Undercapitalized, racist, understaffed, unqualified staff, essentially no library etc etc etc
