Lightbulb Xavier Information - Admissions Department

Dear Student Doctor,
My name is Aaron McCullough and I am the Director of Admissions at Xavier University School of Medicine. I wanted to contact and thank you personally in regards to your interest in XUSOM and our Pre-Med and/or MD program. To begin your medical career is a serious but wonderful decision. We would like to speak with you about how your current situation and expectations will determine what path you will take. Our Admissions officers are ready to take your call and assist with any and all questions regarding applications and admissions to Xavier. If need be you may also contact myself directly through the main line at (508) 425-6338, extension (518). Or, if you like, you can reply to this e-mail with your phone number and a time best to reach you by so that we may contact you back!
Just to let you know, we have great plans for our incoming class. Becoming a student at Xavier is a great experience, knowing that you are preparing and developing into the physician you aim to be in the tropical atmosphere of Aruba. Our English-speaking campus is made up of hand-picked English speaking professors who work diligently to ensure that each and every student, both young and old, fresh out of school or looking to change their profession, achieve their dream of becoming a practicing physician. After your class and lecture courses in Aruba, also known as the Basic Sciences, you will move into our Clinical Program, rotating with Practicing Physicians. 100% of your Clinical experience is in the U.S. and this program that is guaranteed to have a slot for you without the waiting game required relocation that other schools insist on! To further help the student, we at Xavier use Atlanta, Georgia and Chicago, Illinois to create an all-encompassing Clinical Rotation site where you can complete week 1 through week 72 in one city. We want our students to feel they can focus on their studies by not hopping from city-to-city, spending your time and money that inhibits you from your goal of graduation. This is not the case for many schools that place you whenever and wherever they can find a spot.

Check out Xavier University School of Medicine in the International Medical Education Directory, IMED.
Our tuition is only $4000 for (4) Pre-Med semesters, $5800 for (5) MD (Basic Science) semesters, and $7000 for (6) Clinical Rotation semesters, all of which is covered 100% + living expenses by our financial aid programs of Sallie Mae and TERI Loans. Contact FinancialAid@XUSOM.nl to find out how you go about qualifying for Financial Aid. For those unable to secure student loans, we have created a simple payment plan for you to complete. Do not let finances discourage you from your new career, because Xavier’s accounting office works with each applicant personally to see that you are given the best opportunity to alleviate financial issues in attending. Scholarships are also available for those who wish to apply, eligibility once you have completed just one semester at Xavier.
