Thank you for the extensive list! And good luck to all who are trying to match and those whom already matched, well CONGRATULATIONS!

I'm going to make a longer post at some point soon about my whole process but for now you can add my programs to the list.

Cooper University Hospital (NJ) for Neurology
St. Mary Mercy Hospital (MI) for my Transitional Year

Cooper was my 2nd choice. I had some Neuro programs with a slightly better reputation after it on my rank list (noone likes Camden, though the hospital itself is absolutely amazing) but my goal was to stay in Philly which I can do with Cooper, it's no more 20-30 minutes away from where I live now

One thing I'll mention now is how SERIOUSLY I underestimated the competitiveness of Prelim/Transitional year programs. Getting invites for those was much more difficult than getting Neuro interviews. You're up against applicants from Radiology, Ophthalmology, Anesthesiology and Dermatology. They are typically rockstar AMG applicants who want nothing more than to do a year of medicine instead of Prelim Surgery. So if you're going for an advanced specialty, don't skimp on prelim applications. Anyway, I'll write a more detailed post about my match experience soon. Until now I've been very busy dealing with the school trying to get my diploma and paperwork out on time. It never ends.

please do. houmd has been incredibly helpful with his basic sciences reviews and insight. we need someone to fill in the gaps, which are pretty freaking huge and include clinicals and residency. it looks to be a chore to do a write-up for it, but with time, it might be possible and will definitely help all of us out.
