    Hey guys:
what stationary supplies would you recommend to bring? im thinking of bringing a few folders and notebook paper thats about it? should i even bring anything or would it be too expensive to purchase on islands?

also, how do we go about the student visa procedure? thanks!

welcome to windsor! everything is costly here on the island, and there are few bookstores. pens, markers, highlighters, notebooks are good to bring. a really cheap printer, and ink to go with it is a good investment. most, if not all of the lectures are on powerpoint. so most students have USB to copy the lectures, and some print them out (depends on your style of studying). In town ,its expensive to print out copies. So its good if you have your own printer. Some of the profs may give handouts, but not all the time. a small recorder may come in handy if you want to record the lectures as well. and dont forget your laptop.

so do the professors post the lectures on their site and from there, we can download/print them onto our own computers? how else does it work?

also we dont need to purchase books since they are provided by the school?
i saw the additional books list but are those really that important. because im trying to save as much space for the packing.

Profs let students transfer the lectures to their jump drives/thumb drives from the PCs in the lecture room. Windsor does give you books to use for the semester but I would recommend buying the BRS Physio, Path, anatomy. This is a review series that is easier to read than Robbins or Guyton. Also langmans embryo is also a great review book. They don't have to be the latest edition..if you want to save money. Try half .com You can also find most of these books in pdf from on the net. See my Tips for new Windsor students thread for the link.

    Good Luck!
