Thread: more fees??? and...

hello people,

doese anyone know about a $100 Dorm application fee?!!!!
and is it $500 maint or $125 / month. everyone seems to get different priceS.

and.... can someone choose their own community somewhere in a needy place through a charity organization for the project 2600 or 4400 or whatever it is called?

I just READ on the official website of windsor university that all the students WILL be provided with all the required EQUIPMENT from microscope to stath, disect kit, etc......

If TRUE?!!!!!! what a great school and admin, dont you agree?

Ya we had to send the 100 $ dorm application fee to the US office once we got the acceptance letter..... And you have to pay 500 $ a semester for dorm maintanence...
And you cant donate the money to your choice of social organisation...Just have to pay the 80 US for Project 2400 every semester....

What does the maintainence fee pay for? Does someone come in and clean your place or what? What do they do ?

I don't know what its for but it was implemented after some students destroyed their apt and left the island. The school had to cover the costs and is now charging this fee.

I would not be concerned about the fact that Project 2400 is only in India, IF the wsum's president would not be also president of an Indian political party named "Telengana Vikas" (Andhra Praja Forum).

So in facts, if my understanding is right, hundreds of students must give money and services to specific communauties in India.
So, beside of the medical and humanist image, I see a big political advantage for any politician to do that.
I apologize if I'm wrong and if the president of Wsum and Telengana Vikas Party and Bollywood Campus Film Productions has never thought to this aspect. Let me doubt however.

Well if it's true about the students who trashed the dorm then left. That should mean there should be a deposit of some kind to ensure you dont damage anything. Do you agree?
