Step 2 study during clinical rotations

I want to get a head start on studying for step 2 during clinical rotations. So far I have a copy of the 1st Step 2 CK and I plan to get Step up to Medicine. Is there any other book that one would recommend for step 2 study such as Master the Boards, etc. Not looking for a review course until next summer.

Focus on learning the subject matter of each rotation well. You do that, and you'll be able to benefit from a review course before your exam. Learn from review sources, and your knowledge base will be shallow....

Thanx for the advice. I also wanted to do a subject based study for step 2 CK during rotations. For example, study IM during IM and peds during peds

For Step 2 I did the same thing I did for Step 1 except in a lot less time. I studied for about 2 months before the test during light electives using Master the Boards for Step 2, Kaplan videos and USMLEWorld. Most people use MTB or Step Up, First Aid doesn't have a great reputation for CK. For CS though, all you need is First Aid and someone to practice with. MTB was light in a few areas, such as Surgery, but Kaplan & UWorld fill in all the blanks. Don't know anyone that went to a review course for Step 2 so I can't comment of that at all. I personally didn't do too much studying during clinicals aside from reading up on my patients. But different study methods work for different people, so do what you're most comfortable with.
