travel document
guys,if one is permanent resident USA, do you need travel document to travel to the island as student? and how many months can you be away from the states?

yes you need traveling documents, you can be away from the states for 30 months if i remember correctly, dont quote me on it though, check the ins website for more accurate info on that.

call the office and ask them, i have heard people say anywhere from 1month to 3months, call the office.
