for you guys who got in for may? what avg. gpa did you guys have? did you write the MCAT? and did your letters or recommendation come from professors or work as well?
I am thinking of applying for Jan 2009; but i want to find out if i can actually meet the criteria.
My avg will probably end up being C+, however I have a bunch of work experienced and extra curricular activities.

Thanks!

Hi, I was a C student in chemistry and physics but all A's in biology. I did not take the mcat. All of my letters were from docs that I have known for years. I too had a lot of work experience. I have been a medic for 17 years. I think that helped alot.
I applied to a couple other schools and they all seem to work in a similar fashion. As long as you have the minimum requirments you will probably get in, but then it is up to you to do the work and stay in.

For anyone else looking for help with financing, I approached a hospital that I have worked for and asked if they would pay my tuition installments. In return when I graduate I will open a practice in that city and admit pts to the hospital for 3 years and the debt will be forgiven. We sign the contract tomorrow.

I hope this helps,
Cheers

My GPA was 3.02 and i didn't take my MCATs, also all my letter of recommendations came from my professors. You are competitive enough to get accepted to Windsor, just apply early.
