Hi all,
I'm planning to apply here for September semester, but I'm struggling with the student loan. Through what student loan source do US students go through since there is no code for this school yet? I do not have the money out of my pocket to pay upfront for a whole semester which I'm sure many students would agree as well. The school also said that they offer private loans through the school, is this true and if it is, how can I get this private loan from the school? I would like to know more before I apply. Thank you so much. |

My understanding of the school's private loan program is just that they will allow you to make monthly payments for the basic sciences, after you pay for the first semester in advance. I don't think they actually give you a loan in the sense thay you will recieve cash from them, and then have that money to pay your cost of education.
I also spoke with the US office about a week ago and the lady said they were alomst finished with the paperwork to get real loans from lenders who loan money in the traditional sense. Hopefully it will be available in May...but reading from others who post here, it seems it was suppose to be available this past Jan. Some of the students who do get loans may be Canadian. My understanding is Canadians have more resources available to them. |

If you call the US office, they will email you an excell spread sheet of the loan arrangment, which is really just an installment plan. Basically 5000 in advance for the first semester and 1000/month for the remainder of the basic sciences.

hi
I was just wondering about the food issue. At windsor site it says that the university provides free lunch to students. Can older student comment on wheather this is true or do we have to pay for the food. What are the facilities relating to cafeteria and food? Food is very expensive in carribean countries. Student also has to prepare the food which is time consuming and is a hindrance in studies. At Windsor students gets free lunch while on campus during regular business days and helps the student by preventing him to go to dorms by walk, prepare the food and eat. At windsor cafeteria student does not pay for food during lunch and is included in the tuition fees. |

hi all,
can any US students tell me where I can get student loans from? Seems like most loan company have their "approved school". What paperwork do I need to do prior to going to St. Kitts. Is there a "to do" list for new students as far as paperwork/forms is concerned? Thank you so much for your help- |
