md04,

I'm an MD 3 at Windsor. If you would like me to prove this, I'm inviting you to my house on the island. The ticket from Canada is not that much. But, again why get into an argument when you don't even recheck your facts.

You are not on any state medical BOARD. (FACT) You do not go to medical school. (FACT) Have you ever been to Windsor? Please save your self the embarrassment and stop posting.

You have no idea about clinical at all. Are you still in high school or premed program?.

You do not do 2 year clinical rotation. Only 72 - 80 wks , It will add upto 1 year and 4-5 months (16 mos).
16 + 16 = 32 mos but i do not know anything about windsor 5th semester. I do not think medical board count that as another full semester since it's main focus to prepare the students for step 1.
5th semester in other schools is completely different from Windsor.

Personal attacks are not welcome anyway.
I do not care & You do not need to prove it. I do not think any school including windsor has 24 months clinical rotations. That is my point.

How is Windsor anyway?.
be peace!!!!!!!!.

Unhappy HCP Thread...

I wanted this thread to be a discussion for people who actually were considering the HCP program at Windsor University School of Medicine.
A place where people who actually work in the Allied health professions could go to either get more information on this subject or share their experiences within this program.
This much I ask. if you are not enrolled in this program or are not contemplating enrollment...please start your own bashing thread. what I have come to realize in the short amount of time that I have participated the ValueMD forums is that alot of people enjoy the negativity aspect of any discussion. I don't know if some how this makes them feel intelligent or if they just like clouding the original meaning of the discussion. either way most of those statements are erroneous in nature and misleading. so I again ask, as politely as possible with the written word, if you are not a student at WUSM or contenplating enrollment into the HCP program. Start another thread and do all the bashing your heart desires.
If there is someone who would like to speak with me, either in the forum or privately, I would be more than happy to offer any assistance that I am able.

Mentors in Medicine

I have heard from a few people that Dr. Halpin is not available for discussion about the HCP program, if anyone is having a difficult time finding out information or enrolling into this program I urge you to contact the university's president, i would think he would like to know there is a problem. thanks

Hello pac2md, I am a chiropractor looking to further my career and came upon this program and I am very intrigued and excited about it. As I have been in practice for 10 years now and I myself have family and therefore, this is perfect program for me. However, I would like to pick your brain abit and ask you some questions. I have reviewed the web page and the curriculum and the time table can you elaborate more on the clinical rotation and the process of graduating. I also would like to know about the residency aspect of it as well. Is the residency program a three year program? Any insight will be helpful and thanks in advance.
