questions from a prospective student

I have a few questions about living expenses. Any answers would be helpful.
  1. On average how much does a student pay for utilities each month?
  2. On average how much does a student pay for meals?
  3. How much does internet and phone service cost?
I know the answers largely depend on the students habits... but any approximations would be helpful.

1. utilities.....it depends if you have AC or not...me and my brother lived in one house....we had AC, which was on every night, and our TV was on almost the entire time as well, so bill was never more than 400 EC a month (1US dollar = 2.67 EC)
2. meals....tat depends as well if you will be cookin at home or not....groceries aren't cheap there either....i would say, if you are goin to be cookin, then 100US should be enough for meals....but if you are going to be eatin out the entire time, then its gonna get really expensive.
3. Internet, i think they take 200EC to install it, and its about 50EC a month or so....but some of the places dependin on where u live, u mite catch wireless...plus school has internet as well, and phone....u can get a prepaid for for less than 100 EC, or u can always bring a phone from bak home that is unlocked and get a simcard for cheap with minutes on it already, so its not that bad....when u get on the island, Chris (the admission's guy), will provide u with all teh information you need, and will take u to the cellphone store, since i believe he gets commission....lol

if you need nething else, feel free to question
btw, wat semester are u going in??

Well thank you for the answers, they're helpful.

I'm planning on coming in May... if not then September. I just found out about this opportunity so I'm trying to get things together. I plan on doing the Pre-med/MD program. Is that what you are in?

Are you happy with your Windsor med. school experience?

I am considering attending a Caribbean medical school and am wondering what your thoughts are on Windsor. Were you happy with your experience there?

Thanks!
