How does vonage work on the island? Because I checked out the vonage website the other day and they only offer services to Canada, U.S. and U.K.!

What are the dorms like at Windsor? How many people to a house? how many people to a room? If possible can somebody load some pics of the dorms?

3. Some cash for a car, the smartest thing new students can do is buy a car and then sell it later when you leave. Renting gets expensive.

4. Birdrock is the cheapest rentwise, frigate bay is expensive. Living in town is do-able but lots of kids are "scared" . A car + Cayon is the best mix, cheap and they have a 24 hour gas station out there.

5. A usb stick, black friday is coming. Get a 2gb stick, a laptop, a digital camera. Vonage is a must for you from the US, Canada, and the UK
With regards to #4, I thought dorms were included in our fees? Do we have to pay additonal fees for each dorm?

the best way to get to the island depends on where in Canada you are coming from. Buffalo may be a cheaper ticket, but factor in your travel time to get to the airport, cross the boarder, gas, etc.

the two major airlines that come here are:

American Airlines
and
US Airways

Look at their sites to compare ticket prices.

Ok....so Carribean Airlines which is located at T3 of Pearson fly direct from Toronto to Port of Spain (6 hours) and then its half an our flight from port of spain to st. kitts. the ticket is about $600. Pearson is the most expensive airport in the world, so if caribbean airlines flies out of Hamilton then the ticket might be $100 cheaper or so. American Airlines will take roughl 14 hours from toronto to St. Kitts. I'm still looking in Thomas Cook Airlines

I have a suggestion. If all the Canadian students (i.e. coming from Toronto and the GTA) book their tickets together. WE may quaify for group discounts. This is assuming that there is at least 5 canadian students going to windsor. If you think that this is doable let me know, and I'm sure we can all work together to figuer something out.
