Hello Current Students

I am just seeking some advice from current students, so what is the deal with windsor. I went to their site and read what they had to offer which was no different then the rest. I am debating if i want to attend this school or not. I would like some info from current, past, or new students on what they know of the school. I checked of ECFMG and they are listed. What places can students do clinicals? I did not see that listed on the site.. Are they people of their word in terms of providing assistance to the students? How are the classes are they easy/hard will they prepair for the boards? Whatever i forgot i would appreciate if someone can tell me about... i appreciate the assistance.. thank you

Try the BIG Four first before thinking about these schools...

It's hard to be an IMG as it is...

In response to Unaccomplished. Speaking upon a topic u really have no information only exhibits ignorance. Did you mention the new campus that is currently being built? Thought not......We're here to help each other not bash.

MUA is not any better.

"Unaccomplished" has no clue of what she is talking about, I think she is pissed that she has to stay one more semester on the island with MUA than she would have with WUSM. 4 semesters in St.Kitts and the last semester is in Carbondale, Illinois Vs all 5 semesters in Nevis (Sucks to be you). Our new campus makes MUA looks like a garage. I agree with Ironmic90 on helping each other instead of bashing one another. if you are happy with your school by all means stay there. We are happy with Windsor.

information? I'm not basing my assumptions on mere pictures, or through second hand information. I saw the campus first hand and was completely shocked that it was even considered a school. It's ridiculous. Besides the fact that St. Kitts is not very attractive outside of the tourist area. The tour guide pointed it out, and then we saw Ross which looked like a palace in front of windsor. Campus being built doesn't mean anything. People can get stuck in that shack, and its terrible to mislead them. Your new campus doesn't exist, and that is what is important. Besides,.. windsor is mediocre, some individuals came on the MUA site asking to transfer.. and did you know what else the tour guide joked about? That people who fail out of MUA transfer to IUHS and WINDSOR.. later people..

Exclamation A few words in reply

Unaccomplished....information based on a tour guide is second hand, but I guess you don't get that principle. Giving an opininion based upon second hand knowledge is misleading, but I guess you dont get that either.

Generally when any institution committs to a large capital improvement (eg: building a new campus) that demonstrates an institution's committment to its future. That's a good thing. ( I'm sorry am I losing u?)

Clearly your age and inexperience in life is showing. Let's be constructive not destructive. Stick to giving out advice about your own school.....then your information will be first hand.

I think you parents would feel a whole lot better about your tuition money if they knew you were more interested in your studies rather than the tourist attractions on the islands.

I just mentioned the info the tour guide gave me for kicks and laughs because it's surprising that even natives think low of the university ( if thats what you call that hole in the wall!)
It's fine and dandy that they are building a campus but that doesn't mean an individual will benefit it unless they attend when it is complete, which would be great in that case...
If I was so young and inexperienced then I wouldn't be going to medical school at the same age you are-- which means you were too immature to pursue your dreams at the age you are suppose to ( my age? hmm?)
As far as your last comment, my parents were with me on the tour, you know people tour surrounding areas in order to get an idea of what they will have to deal with, obviously you did not --because you are in the hole that you are in!
I have seen it with my own eyes, you can't tell me what I think is wrong because I saw it quite clearly.
I have nothing left to say about this, or will cont' to argue on this matter, it's case closed.

Talking The last word

Clearly, the point I have made has sailed over your head or u truly don't get it. You have no desire to use this forum in the manner for which it was designed. Accurate and informative exchange of information. A constructive process.

Believe me I never had any doubts that your parents came with you!
Hint: it's time to cut the apron strings.

So...you're right it's best that you end this discussion (adults discuss...children argue) and don't forget to ask mom and dad what time you can stay out 'til tonite.
