rotation

Peds is in the clinic not hospital, so is internal medicine. The same doctor is doing both in Norfolk. OBgyn have 2 locations. Depaul medical ob dept is closing this August, that is the only hosp you can scrub. Internal Medicine is very important part of medicine, but just doing it in the doctors clinic does not help, you wouldn't see a lot of cases. good luck

Hi Born2cure,

Sounds like you did your rotations in Virginia. I was wondering if you can answer my questions:

Is there any inpatient experience at all when it comes to the IM rotation at Depaul?

The doctor who teaches peds and IM----what is his/her board certification?

Thanks.

virginia rotations

I did my IM in virginia, please it sucks, that doctor does not know what he is doing. He also does peds. Please don't even waste your time. Its all clinics and nursing home. Not even a day in the hospital. I did Obgyn at depaul, but the dept is closing down at end of august. It was a very good experience, the hours was crazy from 6A-5P. Windsor websit says there is rotations in NY, W. Virginia, New Hampshire, etc. Please don't waste your time doing peds and IM in norfolk.
