Thread: Non EU enrolling process?

Hi, I made an account just for this so I hope I'm posting in the right place, I'm not used to forums.. Any advice from any non EU student who has enrolled/is currently enrolling? I passed selection through the exam and want to enroll, but I'm confused about so many things like student visa, translation of documents, financial stuff, deadlines, and all of that...How to go through the consulates, how you all went about/are going to send transcripts.. anyone who can walk me through would be much appreciated!! I'm from New York by the way! Also I'd love to meet anyone else who's in/going to the program too!

Also when does term usually start, and does the program run during the summer or have breaks in summer, winter, etc?

Thank you for the quick response! Your link is extremely helpful, I will be referring to it a lot. I'm just not sure if I can actually go because I only have my high school diploma and not bachelor's degree. When I emailed the school a few months back asking about it they said anyone is eligible to take the exam, so maybe I should have been more specific haha.

But I guess we'll see... How long did the process take for you to get the student visa? It definitely seems hectic.....

The best bet would be emailing to your local Italian legal authority. I think there is one in NY for sure. And tell them that you have passed the entrance exam and now you want to enroll.

Okay, that doesn't sound too bad.. I'm going to the one in NYC at the end of July. Question- did you enroll directly at the office in the school?

I concur with what Sushi said. Dealing with the consulates is quite painful but the sooner you get it out of the way the better it is. And if you run into any issues, the Secretariats are really helpful in that regards.

...and I have been dealing with this program longer than anyone who has written here so far... and wow are there stories to tell...
