Well it seems this posting got pulled off track to the talk of power, influence and what not between SGU and Ross and who knows what else.

A comment was made about AVMA accreditation of the vet school. SGU will be watcing Ross closely as they apply for AVMA accreditation. Their vet school has been around longer than ours. SGU cannot apply to AVMA yet because we have not graduated three classes. Even though we will have graduated three classes by next year, the AVMA will only credit one graduating class per year. So the application process cannot start for at least three more years (but that time we'll have graduated 6 classes). We will be routing for Ross to get accredited because that will open the doors up for us. In other words, we're letting Ross face the firing squad first and we'll learn from their outcome.
