Thread: GPA for SMU

Does anyone know how competitive Caribbean veterinary schools are? Assuming I have decent volunteering experience, what kind of gpa would get me into SMU, Ross, or SGU? Oh and does anyone know anything about UHSA vet school? I could probably have a 3.0 when I graduate? Please help, I'm compeltely non competitive in the US.

C'mon aren't there any vet students out there that can share their stats the got them accepted?

speaking to a vet student now. If you have a beating pulse and means to pay tuition. SMU should accept u.

Thats reassuring. I spoke to the admissions advisor and he made it sound very competitive and hardly anyone with a sub 3.0 gpa gets in.

I had a 3.69 overall undergrad GPA. I wasn't accepted to any US vet school (I applied to UPenn, VMRCVM, and Cornell), but I got in to SGU. I had a 1250 on the GRE. I think the reason no US school accepted me was that I don't have large animal experience.
