Investigating cheap medical programmes including vet. med. Outside of the US, does anyone know of cheap schools that teach in English?

I don't think I would say any of them are cheap, but other than a vet program in Cuba all Carib DVM programs are in English. Those being SGU, Ross, and St. Matthews.

I almost forgot...there is also a very well established veterinary program in Trinidad at the University of the West Indies (UWI). However, unlike SGU, Ross, and St. Matthews they are not oriented toward graduating students for practice in the US (maybe also UK and probably Canada). UWI could be a very good decision if you plan on practicing in the Caribbean or possibly South America.

Know your food supply

When looking into vet schools and their costs I would also recommend asking about scholarships that are available. Many students are surprised by the number of different scholarships that are availablle to students that can help significantly in the cost of tuition.
