Welcome to The ValueMD USMLE Step 1 Score Estimator Tool!
In preparing for the USMLE Step 1 exam, one of the most frustrating aspects seemed to be a lack of ability to gauge one’s preparation progress. Despite the long hours/days/weeks/months used to prepare for the USMLE Step 1 exam, it is difficult to determine whether or not one is prepared to take the exam, or whether or not one will even be able to pass! To make matters worse, the exam can only be taken once, assuming one receives a passing score.
Because of this, we’ve developed a tool to help medical students determine where they stand in relation to other medical students who have prepared for the exam. Mathematical regression models derived from a variety of available resources are used to calculate an estimated USMLE Step 1 score. However, the most influential factor is based on the anonymous score submissions. Therefore, its accuracy is proportional to the number and integrity of medical students who anonymously submit their scores.
