Took exam on Oct. 16

My take---

Doable, but more about endurance. By the last block i was almost delirious. I studied about 3wks., 6-8hrs. daily. I read secrets, and crush step 3 (yes, step 3 because i like the organization better. It helped me remember more). I did purchase board/ward, but my opinion is was a little over kill, esp. after taking the real thing. The thing that helped the most was UW. If i had to do it again, I would stick with UW and Secrets only. If you take months to study you should do just fine. If you have a average foundation, I think you'll be fine (...know everything 80%).

Experience--
I had 3 audio clips (listening only), you could arrive at answer by reading case. I had 3-5 ECGs. The exam was pretty well spread out as far as topics. I did have a hand full of questions that dealt with basic science stuff.
One day before, I would recommend watching a movie and getting a good night sleep.

My 3 most valuable pieces of advice is: UW, UW, UW

i will post more details later, if you have specific questions I will be more than happy to answer. I am exhausted!

When are scores due?

Hi,
I plan to take CK early December. Trying to get results early enough to apply for programs with deadlines mid/late Jan.
Just want to know how long I have to wait for scores.
When you receive scores please post the day you sat for the exam and the day you received your scores.
Thank you

YES Usmle world have proven till today to be the best or one of the best tool to prepare for both USMLE step1 and Step 2CK.

Disclaimer This is my honest opinion and I do not get paid or work for USMLE WORLD.

i didn't know about UW until I hit clinicals and used it for CK. And let me tell you, I wish I knew about it for step 1. It really was a life saver. I learned soooo much from it and it really helped me out by preparing me time wise. I will definitely be using it for step 3. Who ever made this question bank is a genius!!!!!
