I did not pas step2 ck which I took a couple of months back. I would like to hear from anyone who can give me some input as to how I should prep for a 2nd attempt. Somebody is telling me to take kaplan's live-prep course. Is that a good idea?????

I read all akplan notes once but only medicine twice. I signed up for video prep but did not do it as I felt I was not getting anything out of the lectures. Finished all UW Qs except Psych and Surgery and went over incorrect qs from five sections of UW. Did 10% Kaplan Qs only. Made notes from UW qs but did not read them.

Now I have to fnish everything I did not finish going over the 1st time around. However, maybe I need to do a few things differently or use new texts like crush which I never used.

I would appreciate a good advice.

I just got my step 2 scores and I failed for the second time with the same score of 175/72, my score were UW 76%, NMBE: 207/209, DID ALL OF KAPLAN NOTES, Secrets, FA and UW questions. I observed both time that at the end of each block before the site went blank on the left column there were [i] in red besides the question numbers. I reported this problem twice to USMLE and they did not address this issue. I am very frustrated and disappointed with myself and wondering if medicine is for me in the first place................. please email me if any one had the same problem, because I am looking at legal options.............................

I just want to share with you that what happened to you was the same that happened to me during the exam, once I was ready to pass to the other block, I saw the entire column got red like I would have not answered the questions.(saw this only in the first block)

I reported this to the ECFMG but haven't received and answer yet, I am very frustated because I am still waiting for the score reports of my test.

Can you tell me what happened with your case?

do anybody got the same problem? please share with me.
I am really scared.
