I though I would post my experience with "the trick"

Well, it worked for me. I checked OASIS for Step 1, then checked IWA and got the message in red saying I passed. And I did - the letter came in that same afternoon.
Same thing for Step 2 - first OASIS, than IWA and it says I passed. I'm not sure I did because the letter didn't come in yet, but I sure hope I did.

The only thing that was different from what everyone said about the trick was the day to check OASIS. Both times I checked OASIS on Thursdays and there was nothing there. For Step 1 I checked again on Friday and it said my score was reported on Wednesday. For Step 2 I also checked on Thursday and nothing. Same thing on Friday. Finally on Saturday I got a message that my score got reported on Wednesday. I'm still waiting for the mail.
So much for checking on Thursdays.

One more thing: both my exams were on Wednesdays and both the scores got reported on Wednesdays as well.

I got the letter today
I passed!!!
I'm so happy
