Did not un gown the patients!!!!

I acidentally listened to the heart and lungs of my first 8 patients on the CS over the gown. This was a stupid stupid mistake. Does any one know of anybody that did this. I completed all other tasks and the note perfectly. I am affraid they may fail me for this. Any info would be nice.

you'll probably lose a point in each of those encounters, not a big deal - look at the check list in the FA book for all the things you probably did get credit for

and dont worry about failing, focus on the match

Like Sree said, they would most likely take off a point on procedure but if you did the rest of the exam right, the overall score per patient should be enough to put you over the top.

My CS study partner once said, "be more afraid of the mistakes you don't realize". He is so right. Don't sweat the small stuff like ungowning your patients... it is easy to freak out about it but in the long run I am sure you will be fine. GL and update us!
