teratos, i'm not so sure if that's true. at most, the questions might be based on actual questions, rather than repeated verbatim. and if so, i don't think it's likely that the USMLE test writers would all be following this website, as well as usmle.net, to try to find questions that are similar to the thousands of actual ones.

If they are based on questions from the USMLE then they wouldn't be actual questions, would they? The USMLE has very clear warnings that the questions may not be REPRODUCED from memory. All of the USMLE review books base their questions on what is tested on the boards. It is a matter of being very specific, but I believe that is what the poster was asking. G

lol, of course i know that it wasn't copied verbatim,lol, but it doesn't necessarily mean that the questions wouldn't b rewritten by some ppl who remember what they got but just rephrased it...........(i hope that makes sense...)....

all these licensing exams are like that. i know a PA who wrote down a ton of questions on her exam and emailed them to people in her class that hadn't taken it yet now she is in huge trouble not to mention the possibility of the whole exam being scrapped, her class mates having to wait until they get a new one going, and who knows what else...so better safe than sorry and just talk about subjects tested not questions wether they are vervatim or not is moot since i can change one word and retain the idea...later
