kap lan vs USMLE

Speaking of Kaplan, for those who have taken the USMLE Step II, how similar (in difficulty and length) are the Kaplan QBank / Q-Book compared with the actual USMLE Step II questions?

Qbook is very realistic

i haven't done Qbank, but i did the entire Qbook and NMS book. in my opinion, the difficulty level of the latter 2 are about the same, but Qbook is more realistic as far as question length.

also, some some NMS questions are not high-yield (asking about rare things) and some are not the right format (one-liners, without a clinical vignette).

but NMS is still good most of the time, it covers some areas that aren't covered by kaplan, and has very good explanations, so i suggest you do it after Qbook.
