Medicine Blue prints I think is very good. You will get the basics down and some of the chapters I will give A+, but at the same time they have a couple of chapters that are just D.
Neurology Blue Prints IS TO LONG, most of the Important things are already in Kaplan Internal Medicine book, but it has a couple of good stuff. Kaplan Internal Medicine In general I personally think is a really good book, some mini flaws but in general VERY VERY GOOD, worthwhile MASTERING IT. Crash I think is to easy and short, but again that's my opinion. The one that IS THE BEST BOOK for step2 ck is: Internal medicine essentials for clerkship students by Patrick alguire And if you still want more then you go to Medstudy for internal medicine.

best thing i ever invested in was UW... taught me so much.. in my opinion, it's better to just pay the money and use their site rather then getting a cd copy of the questions.... why you ask.. because it helps you manage time and it also keeps track on subjects you know and don't know... kinda like using flash cards i think... best thing i ever bought..
i didn't like kaplan.. but if you are going to use kaplan, i suggest you begin at the beginning of your clerkship.. if you wait till you have to take your exam, you are going to feel overwhelmed... FA and B&W: waste of money I think.. unless your just using it as a quick review, i guess it's fine, but if it's your maine source, you are in trouble my one cent on the subject. |

Yeah, I think in the end you'll learn more from doing USMLE World questions than from many of the review books. Even if you don't get the answers correct, read the explanations and learn from them. Many of my residents have told me they used USMLE World and it helped them out tremendously.
