    Got score, need advice

    I got my score a few days ago and am bummed out. I got a 202. Will I even be able to get a residency in IM with a 202? I have always wanted to do anaestisiology...is that totally out of the question with a 202? Would a good Step 2 score matter? Thanks in advance for your advice.

    Try to get a better Step 2 score. 202 for anesthesiology is kinda on the low side. Definantly work on Step 2 and try to build some very tight connections with Anestesiology Department heads when you do your rotations. It might be "who you know" in the long run.
