    I have it...

the software was poorly designed - no save feature, which means you'll be repeating questions. and there's at least one glitch in it. the first exam i took i got a 52%... or so i thought. i went through the wrong answers and found out for over 3/4ths of them i had actually selected the right answer, which means my real score should have been around 86%. i called the 1-800 number to voice my complaint and found out i'm not the first one who has called about this particular problem.

also, if you're used to qbank and seeing the answers explained (why the right one is right and why the wrong are wrong), then forget about it. the book, on the other hand, does have all the explanations.

one more thing i've heard is the cd repeats questions, which are found in the book.

in the end, if you put the problems with the cd aside (heck, if you just put the cd aside period) and look at the book, then i think you'll find it another worthy source of questions and explained answers.

    hope my two cents helps.

    thanks

hi, thanks for replying my question.
actually, i had the same trouble. i did several tests, my scores are around 50-60%. usually, there are 5 questions i did right when i check wrong questions.
except those troubles you mentioned, how do you think the questions. do you think they are good questions for step 1?
    thanks again,

    Regarding the questions...

I only did one block of 50 on the cd and the questions in that block seemed decent. As I stated above, the cd doesn't explain the answers, so I'll be doing the questions out of the book from here on out.
