Kaplan home study vs Kaplan lecture notes

Hi,
I was just wondering how well the kaplan home study review books were, and if the kaplan lecture notes were better. I have already started the home review books, and they seem pretty detailed, and i almost died reading micro, but maybe its because its only my first time through. TIA for any replies.

Kaplan books are very detailed, what I do right now is I read first aid, and if I need a detailed explanation for something, then I read that in Kaplan, that way I get through things faster.

hey doc , if you have the time and the energy , go for home study guide and do kaplan qbank or usmleworld in the same time , you will get your 260 especially that you have about 12 months to finish your steps before match of 2010
