Maternal Respiration during Pregnancy

Waht is nornmally during pregnancy:

Respiratory tidal volume decrease?? or Pulmonary functional residual capacity increase??

Pregnancy....
think.
who needs the oxygen? the baby
how to increase PAO2 (alveolar) = hyperventilate
hyperventilate = resp alkalosis

High estrogens = spider angiomas ALL over the lung to increase SA for oxygen exchange

No need to increase Tidal volume because progesterone increase ventilation via rate not volume

I didnt look anything up = check this info
