advice needed for a newbie

Hi all, I'm new here and I would like to get some advice for my step1 preparation.
I started about 3 weeks ago with biochemistry as many here advice to do so, I study only about 2h/day since I'm a full time intern (pre-last yr in med school here in morocco) but I think it's enough since I'm not planning taking step1 before Nov or Dec08.
My problem is that I was thinking I was doing fine, I not only learn but I try to understand the concepts, but then when I tried to do the Qbook I realized that I couldn't answer many questions because I didn't knew the diseases they're talking about ( I studied med in french and some diseases names are totally different in english).
So what should I do? Start studying pathology-physiology then go back to biochemistry or should I just look for translations of each disease I find in the questions? I'm a little lost here!
Please feel free to give some advice, and thanks for reading me.

maybe you should study in english? i don't know how different the names of different enzymes are but i would assume most everything will be different. If you study in english it might take longer but at least you won't have to spend any time translating what you learned in french into english.

RussianJoo thanks for your reply.
Actually I studied medicine in french but now I'm studying step1 material in english (FA+Kaplan). What I meant is that since I didn't study pathology in english yet, I don't know what disease they're talking about in the vignettes which are mostly disease orientated.. the enzymes and other stuff are pretty much the same in french so I don't find it hard to learn in english. So maybe I should start with pathology first?

well those diseases they ask in biochem questions should have been gone over in your biochem review notes, so you should have learned those names from biochem. but you can start with whatever subject you want, there are no rules that say you mus start with this or that.
