Going over Tommy Concepts AZ????????

What is all this AZ stuff about? Why would his nose be in this? Kaplan and First aid and Gojan is no different giving hints and tips for the boards, theres mounds of retired questions ..............I see nothing wrong with giving help and yet I keep reading AZ mad AZ complaining he has no, No Medical Degree what does he really know!!!! What gives here??????

I have no idea what you were just trying to say. But outside of that, please do go over Tommyk's concepts! I found a number of them very helpful for my real USMLE.

Ah, I think that's just the way it was written and formatted. Originally they were posted in the threads, and then compiled into the Medical Resources format, I don't think anyone edited out any of the conversational pieces.

If I remember correctly, Az was worried that some of the information may have been too similar to what was on the real USMLE. While you are correct, there are retired questions out there, those are officially retired. Tommyk's may or may not have been and since we are a large website dealing with the USMLE, it was prudent to ask Tommy to make it more vague or broad conceptually.

I was just wondering why would a Non medical person care so much. And yea its referred in there why I'm working on the Q's I thought they would help me (Got 16 days till the big one)

Well, doesn't matter what he does, he was correct in pointing it out if he believed Tommy was writing his questions too close to what was actually on the USMLE.

I will need to read what you are talking about but this is the thing:

Tommy K
1- Dedicated his time to creating let me repeat creating, You(not you MYMD, general speaking) still don't understand, ok let me explain it better MADE UP the questions.

2- When you advance and take step2 and step3 you are able to see the big picture of the test call USMLE, and like Goljan says theres only a few ways to skin a cat.

3- Tommy K did those concepts to help the people that were behind him, so they could move on and get into residency.

4-He never charge no money and they are here for me, you and anyone that needs them for FREE yes you heard it right for FREE.

5- He advise and help many of us, YES he help me so much in my time of crisis and guide me that I then got motivated to also help people and that is why I decided to become a MODERATOR.

6- Sometimes you are just tired of reading the same questions or the same book, then you come here read Tommyconcepts and you find a fresh air a new start, you review A LOT of HY material and you get advise from him.

7- Some people did not like his approach and thought that was to much of a help for us IMG's , so they try to scare tommy from helping us, and even went to say they were tommy and start selling his material , material that you got for free and even try to charge for helping, the poor Tommy at that time in residency , felt bad and that is why we decided not to let people download the material but use it for free here.

Also you can read the disclaimer that he has like signature:

"All USMLE cases are original and are expressly not from questions seen, recalled, paraphraphrased from the real USMLE, the material is for the purpose of the education of future physicians and the safety of their patients."
