But pharamcology book "pharmacology board and rxamination review "by Ketzung page 405 says MOxifloxacin and Trovafloxacin have broad spectrum and effective against Gm +tive,, Gm -tive and Anaerobic bacteria . Will anybody help to explain it ??

There are new drugs starting to work on anaerobes which are quinolones. But the more common used quinolones like cipro have no effect on anaerobes

Sorry I did not know when we talk about Quinolones , it means "old quinolones " and these do not include the new one.
