my test is next week
i follow your q very seriously
but i have a q
do you think i should focus only on the first aid for this last week(and of course i study your q by heart)
or should i solve other books?
i m a bit lost now,the first aid is very difficult to read,,but i know it has so much important info.
tommyc,can i also ask what was your score on the usmle?
you dont need to reply if you dont wish to.

I think for this last week, if you are in need, I WILL KEEP WRITING QUESTIONS on this site you seem very nice. I passed STEP 1 with a score that was not very good so I wish I don't have to admit the score here... BUT, had I had my own posts so I KNEW what to expect, I think I would have done extremely well.

I just did not have ANY IDEA what to expect, so when they threw the questions at ME I WAS LOST. Because the timing is NOT OFFICIAL AND EASY YOU HAVE TO KEEP TRACK YOURSELF AND I messed up my own timing so I HAD TO RUSH AT THE END! Very BAD! Basically I had to bubble in random choices in my LAST section.!!!!

That is why I think it is FAIR and JUST that I tell others what to expect. I think it is simply the right thing to do. I will make this a HY Concept . Thanks..

indeed your q helped me so much,i can not even describe my gratitude.
for sure i will cont.solving your q-its great how you put it,bic.while reading the q i can test my own knowledge and immediately i compare my answer with yours-i feel it improved my confidence,not bic i can solve all your q,but bic now i know what to expect.
but tommyc,you did not reply my q about the strategy for the last week.
what do you think of first aid?will i waste my time reading it?
i hope i dont disturb with my q

i know you are busy with making up the questions,but i really am desperate and really need a good advice from someone who have done the exame...
any advice for a last week revision and is first aid worth the time spending in reading it? thank you.

For the last week, I think First Aid or the HY series is best. Common stuff is tested commonly. DO a lot of questions, Kaplan Q-Bank is good, but I am trying to make up these questions which everyone is telling me are better. I will really try my best for you. If I know I can help even one person pass this Mt Everest of a test, I will have spent my time well.

Again, you all are being almost too nice...

It actually makes sense logically....

If a person is going through a tough time and is feeling low, often the best remedy is to do something good and positive! And when I first posted, I posted only thinking I would post maybe 3-4 sample questions, but I got SO MUCH postiive feedback. Plus, I feel like you all are like my brothers and sister for all the nice things you have said. So, I feel like keeping on going!!!
