Talking wooo hooo I PASSED I PASSED!!!

this was my 4 th time taking the exam and i got 258/99 I have no words to describe my joy. I saw the result and i've been running around screaming for joy. There IS A GOD, just when i was down He picked me up. The Sunday before my exam the verse that stuck with me til today is Matthew 21:21-22. Just have a little faith and even the impossible is possible. All the hard work paid off, I want to sincerely thank each and everyone of you, you've continuously encouraged and guided me through. Thank-you so much valuemd community.
My advice to anyone reading this those days that you feel down and things seem unattainable those are the days that you need to fight the hardest, those are the days that your passion of medicine needs to consume you. Work hard but at the same time remember the key to success is having balance, do not neglect the other components of your life--family, friends.
If I can help anyone in any way please feel free to message me.

    Hi JJ-Hope,
Congrats! Am happy for you. I, on the other hand may not be as fortunate. I too checked my results online today and failed 70, 175. This was my first attempt. I was feeling lousy right until I read through these forums. I believe I was not well prepared at all. I ve learned my bitter lesson and will strive to do better at the next one.
Would you be kind enough to give some recommendations? I have very scarce study material. I used First Aid, Kaplan Medessentials and UW qbank (i only did 90% , once) Now that I think back, Im more saddened to see what a blunder I made out of my preparation. Do you suggest I get extra reading material such as the Kaplan notes? I was thinking of doing my step 2 first instead of repeating step 1.
Also, mind telling me where I can download the NBME qs which everyone here talks about?
I will be very grateful if you could answer my questions.
    Once again, congrats.

I was curious about that too. It is quite an accomplishment. Personally, I have never known someone who has failed that improves by more than 40 points.
