passed step 1

hello everyone,
well i got my score today - 95, 228
thank god.
well i studied like 6 to 7 mnts. used kaplan books, golgan audio and first aid. i did 1 mnt of usmle world with ave. score of 78.
took the usmle cd practice test with 93
nbme 1 and 2 - 92 both times.
the exam was very hard with alot of pathology i never saw before.
alot of respiratory physiology
1 embryology question
very few anatomy
few biochm
like 4 calculation which i most likely got wrong
not alot of graphs or pics.
few behav.
few pharm
just mostly pathology.
i guessed alot if not most of the questions , after i felt i got alot wrong, but didnt feel too bad.
overall i was telling myself i wanted to get like 96, i studied hard, all the pathways in biochm but got none on the exam...
well now to prepare for step 2, good luck to everyone.

Usmle

Congratulations from me. So I have to study 6-7 months but at least I will get good score. Did you join Kaplan or you just bought the books from stores and studied. I will need help in the preparation.

well i am from guyana , south america.
honestly i think i only started to study and actually remember stuff after i did the usmle world questions which was like 2 mnts before the exam. all the time before i was reading but not remembering anything so usmle world really helped me to get down and remember the stuff.
even 1 week before the exam i felt like i didnt know anything so i did my nbme 2 and got 92, but still felt like i didnt know anything , maybe that is normal. i really wish i had done 2 mnts of usmle world but i started it late. but guess 1 mnt was enough, thank god it really helped me to understand how to answer questions.
thanks for the good words............
