hey Life_is_beautiful....what a wonderful login-id and you're worrying soo much. Wcb22 is 250% correct. Just thank GOD that you passed in ur first attempt. Most residencies that you will look at ask for 80 & above. So Ok maybe you won't get as many calls as an individual with 90 score, but at least you match the cut-off for most residencies.

Also, just to relieve your anxiety....think about those people with multiple attempts and people with below 80 score. It might calm you down a little. You're 10 times better off than them. I know in these situations people like to say Who cares what others got. I need to think about myself because i need to compete with people who got 99's. But don't think like that because what's done is done. You're just stressing yourself and creating more anxiety for yourself. There will come a time when you won't be able to concentrate into anything and thats the worst thing you can do for yourself, especially in a field that you're going into.

Think about the good old days when you're applying to medical school. You probably thought that there is no way i would get into any medical school & even if i did, there is no way i can ever pass STEP 1. You got over both of those challenge. You will get over residency challenge as well.

I am done with my lecture. Don't worry you'll be fine.

Can you give us an insight on how you prepared for the exam? (How long you studied and what resources you used?)

you should get IM somewhere. what med school do you go to or are you a true foreign grad where you will not have any rotations in the states? if that is the case, i would recommend doing observerships to gain those US clinical experiences to put down on ERAS. looking at your score alone, you should get IM somewhere as long as you do the same or better on step 2.
