Whoosahhhh... I passed!!
okk guys ... I climbed the mountain, and I'm thankful for what life has offered me so far! Here is my vital stats during this long and arduous process.
NBME 1: 340 NBME 2: 390 NBME 3: 325 Free USMLE questions: 1st try 67%, 2nd try 67%, 3rd try 74% (I did not try to remember any of the questions .... it was very objective) STEP 1 SCORE 202, 83% AS YOU CAN SEE, THE NBME SCORE DID NOT CORRELATE WITH THE REAL DEAL... AND IRONICALLY, THE STEP 1 QUESTIONS WERE MUCH HARDER THAN THE NBME QUESTIONS AND VERY SIMILAR TO USMLEWORLD QUESTIONS ....BUT EVEN LONGER IN LENGTH!!!! THE BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE:
BEST OF LUCK! ANYTHING ELSE ..JUST HIT ME UP!! |

Thanks Jonah! ... Voila .. the link to Amazon.. but I highly recommend you to go to a bookstore and check out the item yourself ... since everyone has his/her own taste when it comes to review books.. For me, I found it helpful specially the last section where it offers the most common diagnosis of diseases, and indeed, on Step 1, some of them popped up! Amazon.com: Deja Review: USMLE Step 1 Essentials (Total Recall Series): Books: John H. Naheedy,Daniel Orringer |

I just got my score as well and thank God I passed!! I too used Deja Review and I thought it was useful. However USMLEWorld saved my behind!!! I had a test very heavy in molecular genetics and UW was right on the money!!
