provided the time limit, there has to be some cuts made. if i were you, i would:

stick to FA, RR goljan, Usmle Rx, UW.

my reasons:

its better to juggle three balls well, than try to do 5 and struggle. Qbank is used as a learning source. it really doesnt reflect q's similar to those on the exams as well as UW or usmle rx do. kaplan is too much to go through. FA sums it up well so learn pretty much everything there. and use goljan for path.

i would also add BRS physio before doing path of each section and stress bit more time on FA biochem and pharm. good luck.

it depends on you actually. Go through FA thoroughly, and if things dont make sense to you or needs in depth understanding, refer to other sources. since youre taking it in june, kaplan sounds doable, as its biochem section is excellent. Question you should be asking is, "how strong am i". Follow kaplan's structure and make quick notes on FA. If you have good background to begin with, annotated FA is enough for step as review.

since im in similar shoes, what im doing extra is going through FA cases and im really glad i have this. there arent alot of cases and its a quick read after you finish studying. having done this, i redid kaplan notes again looking at it differently. For example, you wont get a case saying person has hypoglycemia (glycogen storage diseases), you will get symptoms of hypoglycemia such as restlessness, vomitting and sweating. (nehoo, it jus kinda puts things into perspective). good luck.

Not to me, G. Kaplan's biochem lecture notes are pretty good.

i did not have a good back ground in biochem, when i started review, barly passed my biochem class.but i sat and listened to kaplan and studied the whole book mol, biochem and genetics and i can honestly say i am ready to kick some butt.a lot of memorization, but gave me the big pic and connected the dots.the way to solve pedigee questions in kaplan is awsome.first aid step up etc are awsome but ...only after u get the big pic.
just my 1 cent...
