Kaplan Qbank: overall 62% (last 350 q's 68%)

Here it is....not as high as I wanted...but I am satisfied..

Kaplan Qbank (85% complete): started ~mid 70s, ended around 80s
Kaplan Qbook (100% complete): avg 70s
Basic science comprehensive given by ROSS: 74
NMBE 3: 530 --> 226 (2 months out)
NMBE 1: 660 --> 250 (2 weeks out)
NMBE 4: 620 --> 244 (1 week out)
Released USMLE CD: 88.7% (45/50, 42/50, 46/50)
NMBE 2: 600 --> 240 (1 day out)
USMLE: taken today

Step 1 (first attempt - April 29, 2006): 172/71
Step 1 (second attempt - November 9, 2006): 203/83 Not as high as predicted, but I'm very happy to have this behind me.

NBME 1: 204 (2 months before)
NBME 4: 206 (1 month before)
NBME 3: 209 (2 weeks before)
NBME 2: 216 (2 days before)

I added all my notes from Qbank into my FA.
Did Robbins Review Questions (72% first time around, 84% second time around).

Please seeing you guys results is encouraging to me. But I have lost hope because I have taken step 1 about 7 times and step 2 about 4 times, rightnow, I don't know if I should just find another career. Please I do need everybody's advice on exactly what to do. Please be honest. Do not make me feel good. Do you think I have a chance of ever passing again.

I am not a 100% sure about this, but almost all states in the US require that you pass each step in less than 6 attempts. So even if you pass Step 1 on your next attempt, it is highly unlikely that you will get a residency, because a residency will not accept you if you are ineligible for licensure in that state. The odds of passing decrease after every attempt. According to the lastest statistics on the usmle.org website, one has only 39% chance of passing on their second attempt.

NBME form 2: 460 (taken 6 weeks before)

NBME form 3: 500 (taken 4 weeks before)

NBME form 4: 540 (taken 2 weeks before)

USMLE CD: 38/40/40 (3 months/ 1 month/ 2 days)

Q-bank, ended up in the 70%-80% range avg.

taken aug 24, score reported sept 13, received sept 20.

NBME# 1..4 months before (400)
NBME# 2 ..1 month before (500)
NBME# 3 ...2 weeks before (510)
NBME# 4 ....1 week before (570)
Qbank Kaplan (80% completed) 70% average end up in the 75-85%
USMLE CD 85%

Step 1 225/91 ( Nov 2)
