States in U.S. that prohibit grads from practicing

    Hey Everybody,

Because of my weaker science grades and no mcat to submit (my old scores expired and I'm not taking it again), I am not applying to the Big 4 (AUC,Ross,SABA,St.George). Instead, I am looking into applying to UMHS, AUA, MUA, and Sint Eustatius.

What states in the U.S. prevent practicing with a degree from these schools?

Does Sint Eustatius have more state acceptance?

    Thanks for your help!

Can someone also post an updated list of the states in which Eustatius grads can't apply for residency.
    Thanks.

    Thanks.
That thread is an updated list with links to each state's website. I haven't heard of any new states since my last posting. Click on that thread to go to the indiviuals states.

    However, the complied list is:

Alaska, Arkansas, California, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Oregon, Mississippi, Tennesse, and Texas (Texas is a case by case basis)

Be very careful about applying to a state that the school is questionable in and getting denied a license. Because states like Missouri will deny you a license just based on the fact that you have been denied in another state.

    I am a fellow.

I do not understand why the school has not updated the list on their website. Their website also lists NM, and I haven't found any regulations regarding that so far. Kansas requires a school to be established for 15 years before granting a license. So, they don't actually follow the CA list. Once our school turns 15, we can get a license there.
