Does any one have any information on the current status of the availability of loans? The new term is just around the corner and I'm wondering what the school is doing to address the issue. Enrollment is going to go way down if something doest happen soon. It has been a few semesters now with no relief in sight. If you have any info please share it with the rest of us.

i called financial aid on Monday and was told loans are available. since i'm planning to go in September, the woman told me to call back in the spring, because she's trying to get the Jan. 09 entering class settled. unfortunately, i don't know any details.

They are taking the loan applications and the news is that two of the students have been approved from the first batch. I applied today and hopefully I should get a response within a week; I am keeping my fingers crossed.

This is good news. For those of you that have already applied, do we need to pull our credit reports again? Do we also need our current credit scores? I want to get all that stuff ready before I call the school.

we don't need to pull our credit report or our curent score but we need our co-signer's. If you call the FA lady she'll email you the application. you have plenty of time to worry about that.

this depends. if they have your credit file/report within the last 6 months, then you are good. if not, then you need to re-submit.

they want both your 3 credit scores & your credit report.

you need a co-signer - you need to turn in their credit scores/report

and your co-signer needs an income

did anyone heard anything beside two students who got the loan....any other student got the loan?.....just little concern about this.....

Talked to NY office on Friday and they told me that few people have been "conditionally" approved and no one has received any monies yet. So I am kind of scared because they have not even disbursed anything for the first batch and there is almost a month left before the semester starts. I hope they move a bit quicker but looks like the rumors might be true after all.
