Who indicated that the new loans will be available? Is it from the school administration? I appreciate any update. Ici |

I am hopeful at what has been said, and I hope that the school creates a school based system for financing (and it may be very creative...not a "real" loan)..but at this time it's not happening and nobody should expect such. If that is the key to your decision to attend SESOM, you should go someplace else or you will be greatly disappointed.

Any ideas as to which MBA (Healthcare concentration) online university is better from the following list: Davenport, Bellvue, Walden, Columbia Southern, any state university, or any other university that is there. Saba, SMU, and MUA students are big on Davenport. They get at least 10% tuition discount and additional funding because their schools have affiliation. UMHS has recently contracted with CSU to enable funding for their students.
I would appreciate an update or any new funding ideas from those who have managed to solve the funding problem. Looks like the goal is to get maximum funding after paying for online course tuition, books, and any other online course related expenses. Any additional information will be appreciated. Ici |

Okay.. the school keeps on saying that "We have bought a bank" That has been the case since late November. The fact of the matter is people who are running the school either dont have any idea what to do, or arent doing much to get this thing done. Since they are getting just enough students who are able to pay out of pocket to stay survivable, they haven't pretty much done anything for the rest of us. We get updates on this situation just once a term. And even then mixed answers are given. This one guy said it best, "I know more people working at BurgerKing that can run this place better".
Schools such as AUA which just opened in 2004, had loan issues for a few months but now they have two loan options from two different lenders and possibly a third one is coming up. On the flip side people who run school are busy making up excuses and buying more time, and this school has been in business for 10+ years now. They dont get the urgency for whatever reason. |

pie in the sky
We bought a bank.
We will buy an airplane so students can get on and off the island easier. We will import fresh fruit on boats for the students! We are expanding to other countries. We will have a beautiful new campus soon. We will have Florida and New York approval soon. Loans are coming. The NVAO committee smiled, that means they like us You must pay your tuition on time. Which of the above is not a true statement? |

is it me, or does nobody read what other people say? they just post and that's it. the school is not just "staying afloat". they are financially very good. the school closing won't occur because of financial issues. don't make assumptions if you have no clue, kobester.

No news on new loan program as of today. Again, if you are waiting for SESOM for a solution to you financial issues, that is not prudent. There may not be a solution before the start of fall. We have been hearing about a solution now for nearly a year.
We don't own NVAO, nor will we ever. Where do people get this stuff? With that much imagination, I would become a city planner, or inventor not a doctor.
