Is anybody starting at Mount Sinai Hospital, Chicago, IL this monday (april 4th)? If so, for which rotation? I am supposed to be starting FM there. Did you get your confirmation email/orientation info/housing info? Did anyone hear about the experience there? Thank ya!

I didn't know Mount Sinai is affiliated with Sint Eustatius....is it? If not, how did you go about getting your family med rotation there? I am interested, thanks!!

Mt Sinai is NOT affiliated with Sint Eustatius. It is done through a 3rd party company called Amclinicals via Dr Harb. You may or may not be able to do the actual rotation there...I have heard that most students get placed in private clinics for FM. I have also heard that for surgery, it is not done at Mt Sinai but at some other place. However I did hear that you get to do IM there (I think 3 weeks doing cardio and then the rest am not sure about). Hopefully someone who has done anything at Mt Sinai replies with some feedback.
